06-24-2007, 3:21 AM nd_princess Joined on 09-13-2005 tragic kingdom Posts 277 Irvine 6-23 concert ND rocked!!!!  How cute was Gwen too, between the songs?? I hope someone recorded that because she was completely being cute. She talked about how she really wanted to work at dland and get a job but her parents didn't want her to because she'd be getting home late and having to work on holidays. I believe Gwen mentioned how she wanted to be Alice or (I don't remember the other character) or she could have worked at knotts and been a saloon girl ... all in all I think Gwen was in her element being in orange county I was sooo happy, well way more than happy, elated that ND performed!! I think I did die, I can't even describe my reaction because words can't really describe it, but it was cool to see basically the whole venue turn into a ND crowd (for the most part) it brought back many memories listening to the songs and being able to follow along (in just a way that can be followed during a concert) I got goose bumps during the second song because it seemed so surreal! it still does now I can't believe I actually saw ND! I think it really did literally die when they started playing sunday morning. it was nice to be around other people that can know a song by the first few cords, because my non-ND friends think I'm insane when I do that) but oh well. Sunday morning was amazing to hear all over again. I think Gwen was more in her element performing with ND than her actual concert. It just seemed like she was starting a completely different concert. not to mention that I got to see ND drive up in a golf cart and head to the afterparty. (only wishes I could have gone) but now I'm soo excited to see ND or just hear their new album and another thing gwen was all about signs tonight too. She read just about everyone's sign which was cool. She even mentioned her favorite are the sparkily glitter ones. now I must get some sleep just a simple kind of life girl    Report

It was my second Gwen show and I love how it was so different from the first even on the same tour. Gwen always says and does different things almost every night! You never know what she might say or what might happen! Security said no signs were allowed, but people had tons of them anyway! One girl even had about five different signs, although the downside was that she was in front of me. It was hilarious when Gwen was talking about that sign somebody made in pencil.    Report
