RULES for Signature/Avatars/Image Pictures
I know how much everybody loves them but just to let you know (because I've seen a small pattern). Pictures that are Offensive, Bloody, Contain Fire Arms, Explicit Sexually, use another users photo without their permision.....you get the idea will be DELETED. And any User who repetedly ignores this rule WILL BE BANNED!!!
All signatures on the forum must be under 650x200. If you want to add a
line of text, please keep that in mind when creating signature sizes.
If you have 2 pictures they will need to be pasted together in paint or
another program to ensure that they dont stack on top of each other and
remain only 200 pixels high. Edit
Re: Mods, where exactly do you draw the line?
I'll try to answer this question.... the reason you see some signatures up and others being removed is that everyone, Mods and Forumers, has a different point of view of what is acceptable and what is not, it's as simple as that.
What we ask is that Forumers use their better judgement when posting signatures, not everyone on the Forum is over 18, the same color, has the same sexual preference, loves violence, has the same beliefs, is from the same country, etc and some images offend others. If I see something offensive I'll ask that it be removed, if I see something borderline (In my opinion) then I'll leave it up...BUT, if someone complains or another Mod finds it offensive it's gone. I'm not saying that just because someone doesn't like your signature that it will be deleted but ALL Forumers need to use and I'll say it again "their better judgement" when posting You've said that you see alot of signatures that should go???? Then report them and we'll look in to it.
Sorry if this pisses people off but that's just way it goes we can't make everybody happy, even the Mods debate back and forth to whether a signature should be changed or not. But at the end of the day they're just signatures, it's not like everyone on here doesn't have a stock pile of images in their Photobucket just waiting to posted. And in defense of the Mods, there are hundreds of Forumers who haven't had to change their signatures. So my last bits of advice are, don't spend hours making a signature that you're going to have to delete and if a Mod asks you to get rid of your signature....just delete it and post a new one, it's not the end of the world.
