My Sweet Escape Tour Story/ Pics :)

ok, so this is the longest post ever!
So on the 31st July i flew to Melbourne at 1pm.
Stayed at my mums friends house in melbourne, which was great :)
WEDNESDAY 1ST OF AUGUST
Caught 3 types of transport to the airport, which was so confusing! got there at around 10.30 am. ali and her friend flew in from sydney at around 12 i think, so we met up and waited at the gates where gwen would come out if she was on the next flight/s.
we met a paparazzi guy who was really nice :)
a couple of hours went past, and the herald sun photographer came and knew she was on the next flight arriving at 2.30 so i started freakin out and ali and her friend dani were getting really annoyed at me lol
so the band walks out one by one and i was syaing hi warren, hi stephen etc and they waved, but we stayed put because we were there for gwwen obviously. so we saw curtis and i was like in shock!!! when my eyes first saw gwen i was gobsmacked, she was so cute and small and i was just thinking oh my god she looks so different, i couldn't believe my eyes, she acknowledged us and then mikey her personal trainer said to follow them through the airport to get pics and stuff signed. so we walked behind her and i couldnt stop saying omg she is so cute and i cnt believe shes real! (sounds stupid i know)
so ali got her stuff signed and i got my original BSC signed and then mikey asked if my camera was the one which we would be taking the pic with, so he took the camera and we jumped in :)
then two randoms had a photo and then the paparazzi wanted anpother one of us (the ones that were on ndweb etc)
i started telling gwen what shows i was going to, but i got too nervous and just told her that i would be wearing the crash tracksuit and she goes "oh you got that one?!" and i said yeah!! then we just kept saying thankyou so much gwen! seeyou tomorrow night, and she left in the car.
then we went back inside and met the dancers and band who were all so crazy cool :) i gave some of them cards and they were like wow thanks. rino was shocked because i gave her a card with some wedding pics in it and she was like wow! i havnt even seen these yet!! i helped flea take his luggage to their bus too
THURSDAY 2ND AUGUST
my first concert!!! got there really early and saw a fan with a ND shirt so i went and talked to him and he was really cool! after about 30 mins 3 more fans came (3 forumers sorry forgot everyones names lol) and two cars came, and i saw gail and gabe in one car so i got excited, then we saw gwen come out of the other car! so we yelled GWEN GWEN!! and she said hey guys! i yelled do u remember me from the airport and she goes "yeah! you look great!" i was so stoked that she remembered me lol.
later i met up with serina aka coollamb, SHE IS SO COOL AHH I LOVE HER!!
so i had 6th row, and surprisingly it was an awesome seat :) i got a photo with curtis, legacy again and then kris. Kris took the first photo cos he said he takes good photos, then it came out blurry hahahah, so ali came over an took it
the show WAS AMAZING! during the second song, rich girl, gwen saw me smiled at pointed, i was like GAHHH SHE CAN SEE ME!!
she sung to me, pointed to me etc about 7 times, i seriously thought i was in a dream. When she said let me find some of my favourite people, she pointed at me and said obviously you are!
then later when she said who's coming tomorrow night!? and i was jumping up and down, waving my arms around she said "Yeah i know you are, you've got the whole outfit on!"
i was so happy lol.at the end she waved at me and blew me a kiss
then we got invited to after party, so we ran to the train, and got ready and went, it was fun but yeah weird, zac was so cool :) and i hugged gabe again :P and mikey was showing me personal training moves ahahhaha
FRIDAY 3RD AUGUST
i had 3rd row this night, i waited with bec pretty early but gwen had already arrived. we heard soundcheck which was cool. we went inside early, and legacy came over and said hi. the show was awesome, i was sitting with sara, and she got to have a pic with gwen and i was so happy for her :) gwen fully pointed at my sign and blew kisses at sara and i at the end.
4th august
flew to adelaide, was soooo tired. cost me $70 in a taxi to get to the airport gahhh! lol
flew, in and waited with some awesome fans :) then coollamb, sarina, flew in from melbourne, and we waited with her. one flight later the dancers came and we got a couple of quick pics, but they were sort of in a hurry.
Gwen was on the next flight which was ages away so sarina and i went to hjs with her awesome sisters and came back at 3.45 ready for her 4.05 arrival. we went upstairs just incase she went out a secret door, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED!! maddonafan (who is so cute in person!!) ran to us and said quick she went out a secret way so we all ran down the escalators, and by this time the whole airport caught on and grabbed pieces of paper and the next thing you know we're all at her car with about 1 million other people too who seemed just lucky enough to be there at the right time....
ohwell, anyway sarina had this AWESOME pic painted of gwen and she immediately saw it and said WOW!! and signed it. then she signed my picture of us at melbourne airport and before she signed it she smiled and looked me up and down and saw that i was decked out in lamb (crash tracksuitt, marshmallow boots, lamb bag and global cities t shirt) i got a quick picture and i asked if she remembered me and she goes yeah i do!
then we said hi to the band (we were the only ones there then becausse noone even knew who the band were haha)
i got a quick pic with zac and took one of the band in the car and i didnt even realise untill after but they were smiling for the picture!

then we went to sarinas friends house for dinner etc, everyone in adelaide was SO NICE! i had the best time even though i was so tired!
AUGUST 5TH
adelaide concert, slept during the day and sarina, her sisters and a friends and i went to the concert at about 6. we had a drink and i swear on my life i have never had so many people stare at me in the same night........it was cool/a bit annoying. some people would whisper to their friends omg its gwen......ummm as f gwen would come out before the show HAHA! anyway, we had 2nd row and gwen came out an was singing so much to sarina and i and we were the only ones in lamb !
when gwen said, where some of my favourite ppl, she pointed to me and said, yeah i see you again :P
in between two songs, which i can't even remember what ones they were anymore, i held up the picture of Gwen & I at adelaide airport and a gold pen, and she stopped and said " This girl, has been to every single show on the australian tour right? (i was saying almost) You want me to sign this for you? Aww, it's a picture of us! You're so cute" (you have to listen really hard for the last two things she said because she didnt say them in the microphone) I WAS GOING CRAZY AFTER I WAS LIKE OMG I CANT BELIEVE IT! sarina got it on video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the show was aweosme, and she pointed to my sign during wonderful life again, "do you know you changed my life" then she started signing to me and i was like ![Surprise [:O]](/emoticons/emotion-3.gif)
BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!
AUGUST 6TH
fell asleep before i caught my plane to perth, luckily my plane was delayed an hour or i might have missed it lol
when i got to perth there were already fans by the names of david (serialmonogamy) bek and ben waiting. so i went and got changed and waited with them all day!
then we met eva, and waited with her also
this really nice lady from the desk came up and told us what plane gwen was on, so i called ali to tell her not to come untill later on.
ohyeah and we met gym class heroes, and they remembered me which was cool :) the dancers were on the next plane so we got some pics and we talked to them for quite a while. i got them to all sign my programme :)
we waited for hours, then gwen came out, she signed my sweet escape album, and my programme, and i said thankyou so much for signing my pic last night at the show and she said "thanks for the book you made me" I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE READ IT :O (i gave gavin a gift bag in adelaide with a blankee with kingston embroided on it in old engligh, and a book, and some koala bear chocolates and a huge card/book for gwen) then i said did u get the blanket for kingston and she said yeah i got everything, i just gotta look at it all again.! wowwwww. then we all got a pic each :D
TUESDAY 7TH AUGUST
i was front row wooh! ummm chris (nds stage manager, introduced himself cos he remembered me form all the shows and he said he would get me gails, warrens and random guitar piks and zacs drumsticks which was crazy!!! i was stoked! then later during GCH donnie came up and put like 10 guitar piks in my hand, i was like woww thanks! so i gave them to some really nice fans i met and to ali andher friend. (and kept one for me)
i gave gwen flowers between songs and she said oh wow, flowers!
and i had a sign that said "THANKYOU FOR EVERYTHING" and she pointed at it at the end and said thankyou to me :) she also sung to me during the show and when she did the wheres my favourite ppl bit she pointed straight to me :)

SORRY ABOUT ALL THE SPELLING ERRORS ETC, IM SO TIRED!!
it really was THE BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE! thankyou to all those lovely ppl i met :)

You look soooo great in the Crash outfit!!!! I could never in a million years pull that off!!!! :) That was a great story and she was really cool to everyone it seems. I wish it was so easy in the States to meet her! Great story and thanks for sharing! Those pics are great and you have so many cool things to pass on for years to come.

i knowwww we gotta do all the nd ones :) it is a shame that its not easy to meet gwen in the states :( HAS ANY ONE LOOKED AT THE VIDEO?? its the best part!!!

Hey KAra and Ali, next time No Doubt tours, i'm going to every single concert in Aus - so count me in you guys.....
so glad i met yous and david, bek and benjamin.....we should do this whole thing again.....im so glad i met gwen and the rest of them.....the wait was worth it...

this is the first opportunity ive had to read your post... wow what an amazing story you made me feel like a really slack fan hahaha... but seriously you put so much effort in and you got so much back .... i definately wanna do the whole cross country trek when nd come... hopefully we wont have to wait too long!!!!!
