I have a question for people from Melbourne, or people who know Melbourne,
I want to know where some good music stores are in the city, that have band merchandise and cheap cd's etc. (preferably ND stuff :P)
And in the way of LAMB/HL is it only really Hype DC that sells HL shoes?

There's a shop called Smoke Dreams in the city across from flinders street station, near gloria jeans. It has some ND merch in it and other band merch.

yeah Smoke Dreams is the only shop in the city that has ND merch, just google it for the address. they're best for stickers and posters, the shirts are pretty expensive and they never have girls ones.
for cheap cds you could go to Dragonfly Discs (around the corner from Smoke Dreams, just google it), it's closing down in 2 weeks and they've currently got 40% off everything. there's also Dirt Cheap Cds, the one near Flinders St closed down but there's another on Collins St somewhere, they might have some ND stuff.

Oh yeah, well any music stores that are relatively cheap and have a good range of cd's and even band shirts would be good. Just as long as its in the city...

Dirt Cheap & Dragonfly Discs are best for cheap cds, as for band merch it depends what genre you like... there's Smoke Dreams, Missing Link, and some shop called Metal Heaven or something like that that's just down the road from Smoke Dreams. there's also a couple of good shops on Swan St in Richmond, one is called Melbourne Music Exchange i can't remember the name of the other... but they're more alternative/metal.
there's another good shop on Greville St in Prahran, i can't remember the name of it but it's got alot of older stuff... and there's Heartland Records on Peel St near Vic Market..

you could give polyester records on brunswick st a try ... they have a nice collection of vinyls, but im not sure if they have ND ones.

i think im going tomorrow. ill get back and tell you if there were any ND vinyls. i bought the fleetwood mac 'rumours' vinyl there for $25. it was on special though ... love brunswick st.

i've got all the ND albums on vinyl, but feel free to let me know anyway! i just checked their site, it's a shame they don't have a list of all their stuff. if you happen to see any Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters or Placebo stuff could you maybe let me know please?
