bakersfield adventure with jilli and kallie <3

first of all i just want to say that jillian, kallie, sabrina, and aj are so freaking amazing...i had the best time ever <3
so my bff angela and i picked up jillian at the airport on wed morning. i greeted her with the windows rolled down screaming welcome to CA-LI-FOR-NIA and honking like a lunatic...i couldnt help it...i was way to happy.
the three of us drove to bakersfield talking most of the way to kallie who was driving into bakersfield from irvine.
we got to the hotel, checked in and loved our room! it was sooooooooo hot that day and we had to walk back and forth from the hotel to the venue (not far at all) but the heat was a bit much...we finally got our tickets situated. found kallie, had a hard time finding other forumers we wanted to meet up with and headed upstairs to get ready. we were hot and sweaty and had about 30 minutes for us 4 girls to fit in one bathroom and do hair and makeup...didnt work well lol...but we got through it...
so we went downstairs...kallie had already gotten into the venue and met up with sabrina and her friend at this point...we also ran into AJ and hung out with him the whole evening...actually, i think us 4 girls bickered back and forth over which one of us was going to marry him <3333
by this point we were taking pics...and then we ended up getting in line for our meet with the band...we stood outside the backstage door for about 20 minutes...the emotions were pretty much all over...i was talking a mile a minute, angela was pissed off because she forgot her camera, kallie was pretty hyper then calm then hyper, all of us were pretty shaky..but we held it together...then we were taking backstage and had to go down 2 sets of stairs to get to the green room...we were running and screaming and kallie took amazing video! i dont remember much of the waiting period except there was pics taken, i almost fell off a chair...
curtis came in a few minutes later and laid down the rules...he was way more relaxed then he was with gwen solo...anyways, he said he was leaving to get the band. then he peaked his head back in and we all got excited then he said GOTCHA...next thing i knew we were all in line and the band came in...everyone was screaming and clapping...it was awesome.

all of us forumers were at the end of the line. tom and adro and started at the end with us, gwen and tony started at the beginning. tom was so so so amazing. he started chatting with us right away. he said he was doing great and asked how we were...awesome of course. he said that it was a lot of fun being out on tour and seeing everyone night after night. i think im forgetting half of what he said because a lot of it was a blurr <3 adro was great too. kallie and jillian told them both it was my birthday. they asked how old i was and told me happy birthday...I STILL cant believe that the band told me happy birthday!
so when it was gwens and tonys turn with us tony was so cute. gwen had did her sig so big tony had no room to write his so he did on the side...poor tony. lol again jilli and kallie told them it was my birthday and tony said, wow. really! happy birthday. he was excited. and gwen said happy birthday a few times...plus she signed my rasta commodore lamb bag! it was my first lux lamb and my favorite by far...now it just means even more to me <3
after that we all lined up and again we were at the end for pics. my jilli was a little teary eyed, i was so excited i was talking a lot, and then we got our pics taken with the band. right after the last pic was taken i started giving tony the shirts. i explained to him that we had them made for the band after a shirt contest we held on the forum. they were suprised and my friend angela took pics with jillians camera. i think the pic may be floating around here somewhere...
it was amazing...but happened so fast! the promoter guy was lame and kept yelling that everything was taking to long lol. the band was chill and like whatever...
it was so amazing for me to meet the band in its entirety...and with some of my best friends ever! it was an experience that i can never fully put into words....

after the meet and greet we walked out of the green room and back stage. there was a girl there holding zuma. so precious...
so we went back upstairs and into the pit. we had missed all of the sounds and about half of paramore. we were there to find out that paramore was having technical problems....ummm, aj dipped and dived through the crowd and got us up to about 10 people back...there was almost a brawl in the pit with these two girls...ummmm and then the most horrible thing ever happened...right before no doubt came on i got sick...not just a little sick but like i was going to pass out and die sick. i went up to get some food and a sprite but i still was really light headed and shaky. im diabetic and my blood sugar was way off...i tryed to shake it off but i couldnt ;( i had to leave and go back to our hotel and get some air and medicine....i was so so so upset....but thankful it happened after the meet and greet.
after the show aj, kallie, jillie, and angela came back to our room to check on me and we watched jimmy kimmel. apparently i passed out right after.

ummmm the next few days were spent driving home to vacaville and hanging out with jilli. we went to SF on thursday night...did some sight seeing, went to rippelys believe it or not....the rainforest cafe and took her down broadway to see all the adult entertainment LOL we came home about 3am and crashed.
the next day friday, we took my nephew to marine world and went to in and out for dinner! i got up to get my food and a girl next to us asked if there was a no doubt concert or something...we were decked out in lamb and i had a nd hoodie on and jillian had a nd bracelet on...jilli told her that it was a few days before and that we were just big fans...as we were leaving a girl walked in with a lamb bag and we got a good creeper pic!!! (kallie you will love it)
we came home and watched the movie taken and i fell asleep on the couch...we were so tired!!!
yesterday we headed back to SF and went to union square, the cheesecake factory, all over downtown, through the mission where carnaval was going on...to some stores looking for lamb and hl and then to modesto...
after dropping jillian off with her brother we had just about gotten into sacramento and there was a high speed chase on the freeway...the guy almost hit us and about 7 cop cars flew by after him. a few minutes later they had the helicopter out but we switched freeways...ewwwww
so i came home and passed out...i slept in today and it felt so good!
i just wanted to thank jillian, kallie, sabrina, aj, angela and the band for the most amazing birthday ive ever had! what a way to turn 30! i love you guys!!!!
(i will post the few pics i have...kallie and jillian i hope you can post the rest since you guys have most of them!!! also if you remember anything i forgot or want to add any stories)

thanks jen! i was so bummed when we realized that it was still in jillians bag....fml LOL we were in the middle of the pit when it happened.
its ok..maybe ill have time to get bec to send her pic so i can add it to the card and then get it to them in irvine <3
