Here's our show poster (cell phone pic, sorry): The rest of the pics/videos to come tomorrow. I'm about to pass out, so I have to sleeeeeep! EDITED STORY HERE: Okay, here we go!! I woke up at 0430, did my hair, nails, make-up, and outfit. PERFECT! At 0645 I left my house to go to the Journal Pavillion. I got the journal, and Bobby Foster Road was CLOSED! I was like, "CRAP! I know there's another way, but I don't know what it is! I'll have to go home and google how to get there!" So, I go down Broadway, and turn onto Rio Bravo. While I'm sitting at the stop light for I-40, what do I see rolling off the off-ramp? TOUR BUSES!!! AHHHHH!! I freaked out. It was ridiculous! SO I'm like "They totally know where to go, and I have to meet the band....so LET'S GO!" I followed the buses to the parking lot. It was GREAT! I didn't see anyone though. Tinted windows and such, you know? So it's around 1030, and a random security dude decides I can't be on the premisis. What a load of crap! I had been there for three hours, not approaching anyone, just waiting in the parking lot to hear the soundcheck. Whatever. He's like "Can I help you?" I'm all, "No." Haha. Then he says no one can be there until 4PM. Laaaaame. So I went home, ran some errands, ate lunch, touched-up the make-up and hair, and went back to the journal around 2:30. So I'm rolling into the paring lot and I see a dude in a hot pink tee jogging...and he has 3 security guards around him. I'm like "Oh my crap, who is it?!" So, I slowed down to get a better look, and as he was JOGGING PAST MY CAR - I realize it's TOM DUMONT! So, he kept jogging and stuff, and I almost peed my pants. I parked my car, and was walking into the main enterance to the pavillion, and what do I notice? He's going in a circle in the parking lot!!! He jogged about 3 or 4 feet away from me. I waved. My friends said "Good luck tonight." He smiled, waved, and said "Hi." And of course kept running. It was SO COOL! So we get in line, and there are like 10 people in front of me. I was SO MAD! I wanted to be there first, and I would have been if the jerk security dude wouldn't have kicked me off the premisis. Dumb. BUT it turned out completely perfect. So I'm in line, and No Doubt starts their SOUNDCHECK!! Woo!! They played some of "Hella Good," "Rock Steady," and - the favorite part - "Let's get back." Super cool!! We get inside around 5:30 PM. I booked it down to the pit! I was right in front of the right of the stage (if you're looking at it) - or stage left if you're into drama. Haha. I picked that spot because it's where Tony hangs out. While I was there, I saw the nanny bring out Kingston. He had his hands over his ears because the music they had on the speakers while people were getting to the venue was too loud. No pictures of him. I didn't think it was right. So between songs - I think before Excuse Me Mr??, Gwen comes over to me, and sees my red satin "No Doubt" jacket and points to it and says "Look at that! That's old." Just FYI, in No doubt land, if something is old, it's cool. Haha. Then she said "I like your hair!" I freaked out! I was like "AHHHHHHHH!" Gwen's drumstick broke and landed RIGHT in front of me on the other side of the baracaide. I'm not tall enough, and the baracaide was solid, so there was no way to reach it. BUT, Curtis came over and picked it up and GAVE IT TO THE GUY NEXT TO ME!!! I was so mad. That dude didn't even care about No Doubt. Like, he and his girlfriend just like made out a lot, and didn't even flip out when ND was about to go on. Whatever. So the drumstick isn't mine. Lame. Then, at the end of the show Tony came down off the stage and thanked fans. He was on the other side of the baracaide. He took my hands and said "Thank you so much for coming." Again, wanted to die! It was basically the best night ever!! I couldn't have asked for more! God is just amazing like that! :D SORRY GUYS, THIS WAS TAKEN FROM MY MYSPACE BLOG! Haha. I HAD TO PUT EXTRA INFO IN IT FOR THE BLOG TO IDENTIFY PEOPLE CAUSE MOST OF MY FRIENDS HAVE NO IDEA WHO IS WHO. I TRIED TO TWEAK IT TO FIT THE FORUM....but whatever if I missed stuff. Pics are uploading. Another edit to come later tonight - maybe 15 minutes. Also, I had video of stand and deliver and part of rock steady, and it sucked BAD! I wasn't watching where I was shooting, because, frankly, I don't give a crap if I got good video. I wanted to jump around and stuff. Anyway, most of it is staring at this one security dude's head, and then there are a lot of crotch shots of Tony. Haha. I don't plan to post it. And one of the guys she was talking to had a tour shirt from 1992 which like blew her mind. It was signed to. I think his name is Mark?? OR maybe not. I don't remember. NXD    Report

You might want to try the middle area just because center-stage is where she spends a lot of time. Also, look freaking insane. It helps. NXD    Report

LOL...that was me actually....My name is Jesus...lol but yeah she was chatting to me about my shirt...and was uber excited...it was right after she said she was looking for her favorite people of the night....i was so in aww... and AGAIN I was the "good dad" during SKOL...I'm always him...lol And the sound check was amazing...at first i thought it was a different song from the first album cuz i was shocked it was even being played and had to process it but then knew it was LGB...was awesome!! Aside from Gwen chatting with me, I got a "thank you very much" from Tony as he came by, a wave from Tom, and one of Adrian's black and white drumsticks with his name in shiny silver lettering..    Report
