Our friends and family and oldest fans are all in the audience and therefore we're motivated to try just a little bit harder. Irvine Meadows Amphitheater (Verizon now) is a place where I have quite a history. I grew up in Irvine (this is in Orange County a few miles south of Anaheim) and when I was 16 years old I got a job there working in the concession stands. I worked there every summer for about 4 or 5 years, it was great because I loved music and I got in to all the shows free (after I got off work). It's a big memory for me and it's literally a dream come true to play there. So this weekend is going to be a big deal for me, and also of course for the rest of the band. See you there! Yes the hometown shows will be wonderful...couldn't make it out this year but definitely next tour I plan on being there to experience the "hometown shows."  I hear they are like no other and this venue you are playing that you used to work at sounds like a really good one at that. I keep hearing good things about it!  I just want to extend my thanks for coming out on tour this year, reconnecting with your fans, setting up tour club for us etc.  Your families and close friends have been nothing but wonderful to us fans as well...No Doubt constantly amazes me and us fans are so lucky to be in love with a band that loves us back just as much! We can't wait for the new record!! We know it will be awesome and hopefully you are all inspired now from this past tour. It was wonderful, amazing, memorable, unforgettable! We love you all so much!
