Green Day Appreciation Thread

i thought i'd make a thread about my favorite band, Green Day. my favorite song by them is Holiday and my favorite album is American Idiot. i'm sure there are other people on here who like them too. and hopefully this thread will last like the Lady Gaga and Ke$ha one lol.

i love holiday, that's a good song.
i havent heard a lot of their music but i really like what i have. i'm planning on getting some of their music as soon as i'm not broke anymore :D

all their albums are awesome. my least favorite though would be Warning. and i LOVED their last album 21st Century Breakdown. there were sooo many good songs on that one.

Green Day is S U P E R good! I like Dookie and probably the new record the best, and AI. Well, all the records are super good haha. I have tons of green day posters on my wall! :)

^HI! and for people who don't know this, they're performing at the Grammy's. i hope they do a new single but they'll probably do 21 Guns :/ and hopefully they'll win something too.

i really like them as well. as long as i can remember since i found ND on mtv they've always had an awesome single out. my favorite had to be Nimrod though, Nice Guys Finish Last is the song that hooked me and it's still a favorite. since i've only had radio in my car, my local rock radio usually plays all their singles which i really appreciate.

Always kind of liked Green Day, especially back when Dookie first came out through the Mud-flinging Woodstock deal ....but being a Bad Religion fan early before hearing of them, i never really thought of GD being anything overly special.
just my take on 'em. Tre Cool is pretty cool, i dig his playing..
