A bit anticlimactic in the end and I don't really understand it. I wish they made more for later seasons. My favourite book out of the three is "Endangered Species", but the weirdest by far is Signs of Life. BTW, first official Season 6 promo was aired last night. You can see it here. Don't expect much, it's only 15 seconds and the producors have already said there will be no new footage released in any of the promos this year. Everything's going to change.    Report

I bought another one, but I can't for the life of me remember if it's Endangered Species of Signs of Life, haha. I found two of them in a second hand bookshop for £2 each. It tells you absolutely nothing new. Don't worry, Damon and Carlton have asked ABC not to release a SINGLE frame from Season 6 into a trailer. There will be no new footage officially released until the first episode premieres next year. It's because apparently, the first few episodes reveal A LOT. It makes sense really, because any footage could give away whether they have reset it or not. The promo for Season 5 made it clear that time travel was involved, but we just didn't know the nature of it. I think the fact that the first few episodes are so revealing we can't see a single clip makes me just as, if not more, excited to see Season 6 than a promo full of footage would. Everything's going to change.    Report

BUT I don't like it as a promo for the whole of Season 6. I want a poster with just the handful of remaining cast members on it like we usually get. They're not going to do that (yet) because they still want to keep us guessing about the reset. While I think this is a great teaser for the final season, I can't picture it on the front of a DVD with all these characters which aren't even in the show anymore. They may well appear briefly in Season 6, but I doubt every single character is joining the cast again. It would look good on the front of a Season 1-6 complete boxset when it comes out next year though. We've seen this promo before though in slightly different forms. Only now they've taken the hieroglyphics away from the text. Walt is absent, but Vincent has been added. It also looks like quite a lot of the characters (even old ones like Eko, Charlie and Claire) have had new pictures taken for this, which is interesting. Libby, Shannon and Boone's photos are old ones. I think I may need to update my sig with match this poster now. So, what do you guys think of this being the official poster for the final season? You know, like the S1 DVD cover? I never thought that was a brilliant promo anyway, since the people were too small but it served the purpose at the time. I guess this will do until the season starts. They usually do revise the poster at some point in the season, such as adding Jin and removing Charlotte in Season 5. As far as photoshopping goes though, it can't be as bad as the whole cast picture they used before Season 5 started. Remember this? Daniel somehow lost a foot between the end of Season 4 and this poster being made... Everything's going to change.    Report

I kinda like it I guess I think they're doing just to keep us guessing. I know there are some previously dead cast members returning. In fact Claire has re-joined the cast this season already, although she isn't exactly dead...as far as we know. But even if there are some dead people coming back, it could just be in visions or under the control of the Man in Black, like Locke is. I mean, there's a lot of dead bodies on that Island and if there is a war coming, this guy could theoretically raise the dead for his cause! Anyone who listens to the official podcast will know how much they joke about "Zombie Season 7", but it could actually turn out to more like Zombie Season 6! Everything's going to change.    Report
