As most or all of you know yesterday was the album release party for Elan's album "Together As One". I decided to go check it out after getting the invite through My Space. We arrived at almost 10:30pm got in line by the time we got to the front of the line the guest list was closed so we all had to pay a $20.00 cover charge not bad. Anyways we went in and lots of people started arriving and the place got full in no time. We decided to go upstairs and get a table and some drinks, I left for a minute to use the girls room and my friend text me to let me know he had spotted Tony & Erin, I immediatly went back to the table and sure enough right across from us was Tony and Erin just chilling listening to reggae. I decided to go up to Tony and ask for a picture he was like "Sure" he wrapped his precious little arm around me and I wrapped my arm around his waist and they snapped the picture away... I gave him a hug and said thank you so much. My friend was next to take a pic and he spoke to him briefly about his custom made No Doubt Truck "Lady Luck" he was just like "wow I want to see pics". Anyways after they finished I asked Tony to please autograph my Elan cd he was like "Sure thing what's your name and hold my drink please" (He was drinking beer) I told him my name and I repeated myself a few times because the music was very loud, of course I didn't mind because it just gave me an excuse to get closer to him, he smelled so good just like last time. While he was doing that I told him how much I loved Elan's album and that he had done a great job with the whole production, he was said "Thanks I'm glad you're enjoying it, thanks for coming" after that we said bye and I hugged him again. Erin was right next to him enjoying the music looking gorgeous like always. After that we headed to the bar and so did they, we grabed a few drinks and they were standing a few feet from us getting drinks too. After a bit we all went back to our tables. We sat there for a while then what seemed like an Interscope rep came to get Tony & Erin because Elan's performance was about to start, they headed downstairs and so did we. At 1:00 am they introduced Elan's video first where Tony makes a small apperance, I tried to record as much as possible but security was tight and I was sneeking around trying to get as much as possible. After the video finished Elan came out and sang "I wanna yell" it was an amazing performance he sounded just like on the album I was very impressed. He did like one more song off his album and the about three more known reggae songs... he didn't sing "All Nighter", I was hopeing thet Gwen might show up to sing with him but no sight of Gwen at all. I looked to my left and Tony and Erin were dancing like 4 feet away from me, I didn't want to seem like a crazed fan so I didn't take more pics of them, I wanted them to enjoy the music as much as I was enjoying it. When Elan's performance finished Tony & Erin took off and so did we, the placed was absolutely packed but we managed to find our way out. It was definetly a night to remember!!! I had lots of fun!!
