I found a completely intact issue of the 1997 Rolling Stone with No Doubt on the cover as doctors at the Uni Markets.

They randomly had a pile of 4 old magazines and I was like:

"Nah they won't"

"Oh what the hell, I'll look"

"Omfg"

*happy dance*

It was $3 AU (ie 1 pound or $1.5 US)

Wow, that's awesome. They sell mags at my uni at the end of semester and I've got a couple of G-related ones for 50c each, but nothing as cool as that.

Pretty much I look through every old magazine I see these days to find pictures of anyone from No Doubt or Garbage and then if I do I ask to buy it.

Like it is my waiting room passtime.

I was annoyed ages ago cos my 'ex' best friend bought in a magazine with a fold out no doubt poster in it and went haha what an idiot...does she think she looks nice...i bet they cant even play music...i was like Surprise [:O]

I don't want someone in my family reading over my shoulder because they'll tell me it is wrong and lecture me blah blah (they always stand behind me when I'm on and read what I'm posting about. It gets quite annoying when they tell me off like "Don't call someone a mungbean!".)

I meant scan the entire article. It is pretty big and interesting and it has lots of cool pictures.

it's not illegal if it's for personal use, it's only illegal if you reprint it or something. pffft who cares! it's not like your giving out pirated copies of ND's new album or anything

Same here . . .I don't like buying fake CD's or DVD's . . (usually cos the quality is rubbish and it is piracy), but magazines that cost a couple of quid don't seem like such a big deal.

my art teacher always brings magazines to school so people can paint by using photos from them, and i got the "fashion rocks" magazine with gwen on it for free, and also the harpar's bazaar one! i was like WEEEE! yay!
