08-04-2007, 1:45 PM deejay Joined on 09-20-2005 4000 Posts 387 Re: GWEN AUSSIE TOUR DATES!! hi to all the first timers.  and a big thanks to everyone who is posting their pics and videos, my camera is not very good and we did not have really close seats so it is fantastic that everyone is sharing, it is the only way i can have a full album from australia and the pics have been awesome!!!!!!! i am having a bit of a lul at the moment, Gwen withdrawals bad, and it is really helping to come and hear that the tour is still going even though it feels like i have nothing to plan and wait for. the last 4-5 months have been so exciting that i just don't feel like doing anything i want it to start all over again!!!!  i need to find a job!!!! and to everyone i met at both brisbane and sydney it was great to finally put a face to the names and you were all just lovely!!!!!!!    Report

We (me kara.little.lamb and my friend) met gwen at the airport as she arrived in Melbourne, it was friggin awesome! haha so I get home and check out all the sites and come across my pic on ndweb, f*cking crazy! I went to both sydney shows and melbourne shows, I had front row for friday and it was friggin amazing!! Gwen pointed at my sign and said "I love you guys" and then she asked me if I was the same girl from last night (Kara, we had similar outfits :P) and I said no and she laughed and said "you got the outfit!" and then when she asked who was here from last night I went crazy and gwen was like "you were here last night?" and I said yes, and she said something along the lines of you are louder tonight :P THEN (lol) when she was in the crowd before she started singing cool (sorry if thats a spoiler for anyone) she was saying how everyone was so gorgeous up close, and she said that the people at the back were better looking than down there (and pointed at the stage), and then she goes, oh, but the people at the front are super cute (THAT WAS US! lol) She sung a lot of luxurious and 4AM to me :) which was great! I got some good pics of that outfit (my fav one) and then I just wanted to watch so I put my camera away :P It was great meeting everyone! Oh yeah we got into the official after party on thurs night, which was awsum, and we go into the VIP room as well But of course Gwen wasn't there Hopefully we can get into the Perth one cuz we will actually know where we r going in Perth :P LOL! Plus it was fun hanging out with my brother and his fiance, and my brother came home for a few days too, and his fiance was here last night, now they're gone and I miss them. But I am looking forward to going to school tomorrow and showing my friends my pictures and videos on my phone. But I miss the excitment of looking forward to Gwen...although I am still excited about having gone to the concert, and seeing her for a little bit before hand from above. It doesn't seem real, it's so odd to look at all my pictures on the wall and think I saw that person in real life. Sophie    Report

08-05-2007, 2:28 AM de-tec-tive Joined on 09-01-2005 Australia Posts 31,431 Re: GWEN AUSSIE TOUR DATES!! i bought this big silver gift box today (like the ones people put clothes in for presents) to make into my tour box. i put the setlist in there, my tour book plus the HL tour book, two wristbands, ticket stubs, magazine clippings and all the other bits and pieces i collected along the way. i printed off all my photos today (160, lmao) and put them into two mini photo albums that can also fit in the box. it's cool to have all my stuff together. I kept everything, even if it wasn't really related to gwen or the concert. I kept the map they gave me at the backpackers, even though we never used it, only to try and find how to get to the Royal Children's Hospital. It didn't even say how. But it has the number of the room we were in, and the coupon for boost juice ripped off it. Oh and I have my train tickets, and my tram ticket. My feet were so sore. My brother and his fiance hate trams so we walked everywhere, from southern cross to the vic markets, plus we were walking around the city all day on Thursday with out bags which were so heavy. And the backpackers was right near the Vic Markets, so my brother and I walked to rod laver from there. And we walked to the royal childrens hospital from the backpackers. I regretted taking half the stuff I did since I had to carry it most of the time, my feet were about ready to drop off. We only took a taxi back from the concert, and a tram to bourke street from the hospital. the rest of the time we walked everywhere.. Sophie    Report
