When leaving the Indy show last week, we were like "There is no way any show is going to be nearly as good as this one" I am happy to report that Chicago did me proud and really stepped it up this tour. 20k+ people filled the pavilion (minus a few close friends that couldn't make it to the show, missed you Molly & Co.) including a packed lawn.
Gwen and the whole crew had huge smiles the entire show and she was totally interacting with the crowd. I was excited to get video of both, Gwen dedicating the Sweetest Thing to a couple behind me that had driven all the way from Iowa for the show, and even Curtis's birthday. Yeah, BIG Curtis looked gitty as a school boy as Gwen pulled him up on stage, he gave her a piggy-back ride, and she led 20k+ people in singing happy birthday to him. I will be posting it later on YouTube and including a link in this thread. There was a bunch of fans in the first few rows that had made some really cool drawings and posters that Gwen made sure they collected and she promised they would all get signed and returned. She made numerous references to Chicago and even talked about her thrift store find which I am pretty sure is the coat with the fur collar from the TK days and is in the extras on the LITK video (please correct me if I am wrong). She even invited the crowd for pizza after the show (obviously not literally) and even told everyone that we were the most “dancing crowd”!?!?!?. During the introductions of the band, Chris brought out a Redwings jersey to antagonize the crowd, and was met with a healthy and lighthearted “boo!!”. Finally, some girls behind us brought a shirt for Kingston that Gwen pointed out and made sure she got it, showed the crowd, and tucked it into her top. It was so cute!!
Seeing Gwen's enthusiasm on these last couple shows really remind me of the energy of the ND shows. When thinking about it, it kind of makes you sad, but on the other hand it makes the anticipation of the next ND Tour/Record almost unbearable. I cannot wait!!!
Anyway, the crowd was great. We got to meet a bunch of ND Forumers and it was awesome to see her wave and point at so many people. She really has a way of letting people know she genuinely appreciates everything all her fans do!
I had such a great night that I wish I could bottle it and send to all of you! I hope all of your experiences at the remaining shows in the US and World bring you as much fun.
“Do Well and Doubt Not”
Here are the videos. I am sorry for the blurriness. The camera wouldn't focus well because of the lighting. The one of Curtis's B-day is quit jumpy becuase it happened so fast and I wasn't ready. lol I thought you all would like to see it anyway. If anyone has a better video of this I would love to see it.

I was there too on the 4th row! What an awesome show and I totally believed Gwen when she said that we were an energetic crowd. I loved that we got to sing Happy Birthday to Curtis. I got my picture taken with Legacy and Stelo! That was awesome. And I also got one of the balls that Chadwick signed. :-)
Overall, wonderful show....wish I could go to another one, but I had some great experiences on this tour, for sure. :-)
Oh, and thank you for posting the pictures and the videos!! I am on a public computer right now in the hotel, so I wil watch them later. Thanks again. :-)
Also i got some pictures and videos....when I get home I will try to get my boyfriend to upload them on youtube!
